Full-Time Move Manager
St. Charles, IL US
About the Position
The Move Manager serves as a leader and steady presence throughout senior relocation projects.
This role combines coordination, communication, and hands-on support. From creating personalized move plans to leading pack and unpack days, you will help ensure every transition is handled with clarity and respect.
This is meaningful, hands-on work that requires both organization and compassion.
What you’ll do
- Develop and oversee personalized relocation plans
- Lead and support packing and unpacking projects
- Communicate clearly with families and partner communities
- Coordinate move day details and team execution
- Set up new homes so they feel safe and functional
- Address challenges calmly and professionally
What we’re looking for
We are seeking someone who:
- Has a genuine desire to serve older adults
- Communicates with patience and professionalism
- Is highly organized and detail-oriented
- Is dependable and steady under pressure
- Is comfortable working in private homes
- Can lift 25–35 pounds regularly
- Is confident leading and supporting a team
Experience in move management, organizing, senior services, or client-facing leadership roles is helpful but not required.
Minimum Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to speak, read and understand instructions in English
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel within the Chicago Metro area
- Have own reliable transportation to and from the job locations
- Ability to work a MINIMUM of 3 hours, with 95% of time spent standing and bending
- Ability to lift small items of 25 lbs. or less frequently
- Occasionally will lift items up to 35 lbs

$22–$26.50 per hour (based on experience)

About the Position
The Associate works in a team environment and assists with the completion of the successful transition of clients into their new residence. We do this through a warm, empathetic, honest, non-judgmental interaction with our clients, their families, the communities and other service vendors.
We are looking for a person who enjoys working in a collaborative and supportive role, is ready to do what it takes to meet clients’ needs and likes an active job. Flexibility, problem solving and the ability to work under some pressure is also important. Training is provided to ensure your success.
